Introduction
First Class Coaching with The Clique is an in-depth, comprehensive coach training program designed to equip you with the knowledge, skills and practical experience to confidently coach others. Within this training, you will receive detailed instruction on how to coach others whilst integrating the ICF Core Competencies of Coaching. You will also be provided with a thorough understanding of Coaching Ethics and how these apply to your own coaching.
The training is delivered through live sessions hosted on Zoom by one of our certified, credentialed coaches. The live sessions are conducted in the following formats:
Interactive Discussion Sessions (16 1.5 hour Group sessions = x24 hours total) – These sessions engage students in interactive conversations centred around the ICF core competencies of coaching. The sessions are designed to equip students with a thorough understanding of the core competencies and coaching ethics and how they apply to their own coaching in practice. Students are expected to come to class prepared for the session and ready to engage in the questions and discussion as initiated by the instructor.
Practical Sessions (Group sessions x16 hours total) – Within these sessions, students take part in various exercises or role-play where they will deepen their understanding and practical application of the core competencies of coaching and coaching ethics.
Coaching Reflection Sessions (Group Sessions x10 hours total) are designed to support students in adopting a reflective practice within their coaching and can help students deepen their awareness and effectiveness as a coach in line with the ICF core competencies and Ethics. Reflection sessions invite students to reflect on one of their practice coaching sessions and consider how effective their actions were, how well they integrated the Core Competencies & Ethics into the session and then project forward to how they would approach a similar session in the future. These sessions also give students the chance to ask questions based upon challenges that came up for them during their practice sessions and receive feedback from the coach and other students.
Coaching Demonstration Evaluations (Group sessions x10 hours total) – Within these sessions, students will be asked to watch demonstration coaching sessions and after, they will be invited to provide evaluations and feedback based on the ICF Core Competencies and Code of Ethicss.
Observed Coaching Feedback Sessions (Individual sessions x10 hours total) – These sessions allow students to practice their coaching whilst being observed by our ICF credentialed coaches. Students will receive feedback and guidance centred around their application of the ICF Core Competencies and Code of Ethics.
Mentor Session (Individual sessions x10 hours total)- Mentor sessions are conducted entirely 1:1 and connect students with our ICF credentialed coaches where they will be mentored on their coaching, specifically in relation to the ICF core competencies and Code of Ethics.
