Last week we spoke about what forgiveness is NOT and why it is so important to learn to forgive. Today we are going to look into the 6-step process to forgiveness.
STEP #1
Write the name of the person who has wronged you then underneath list all of the things you have done that you would like to be forgiven for.
By starting with this step, you see how much compassion you are in need of and in turn it makes it easier to show mercy to those who have hurt us.
STEP #2
Forgiving others is a spiritual experience and when forgiving someone feels beyond us, look to the Universe for support. Ask the Universe to help you forgive and send this out with your heart.
STEP #3
Become fully aware of the violation done against you. Feel the pain, anger and hurt fully. Do not stop any feeling, be aware of these emotions though do not cling to them, let them pass.
If you need to – punch a pillow, scream and shout. Whatever you need to do to feel as if you have fully felt all of the emotions.
Finish by thinking of three things you have learned from this experience and write it down.
STEP #4
Consciously make a decision to surrender.
Surrender your desire to get even with the person that wronged you. Write down your decision for example “I am surrendering my rights to get even with ….. I make a commitment to the Universe and myself to surrender these sordid feelings and while acknowledging them, I am releasing myself of the toxicity having learned from the experience and allowing myself to move on with my life”
STEP #5
Choose to have compassion on your violator.
Look at them as a tragedy who should be pitied. Pray for them. It is hard to pray for someone and still hate them. Ask for a blessing in their life, for good things to come and to wish them well. All in the light that you are freeing yourself from them for good.
STEP #6
Move on.
Now is the time to focus on positivity, light and the people that bring joy into your life. Forgiveness takes time but with focus and the Universe to support you, you do not need to have the negativity and hurt in your life anymore. Keep your writings so if you need to you are able to refer back to the steps.
Forgiveness frees us from toxic feelings that ensnare us in hate and bitterness. By learning to forgive, we free ourselves to live fully in the present and to reach our fullest potential.

Traditionally journals are used to remember the past but what if you were to use a journal to manifest your future?
Manifesting in the present tense is a powerful technique in the Law of Attraction. This is often done through your thoughts but why not go one step further and use a journal to manifest your dream life?
How to begin:
Find a journal that brings you joy. Whether that is a leather-bound journal, a blank book or journalists’ notepad – hold the book and let yourself feel the energy. Your heart should feel light and there should be joy in your heart. You should enjoy the feel of the paper underneath your hands and the weight should satisfy you – either in its reliable weight or the fact it is a light and carefree – FEEL what is right for you.
Once you have chosen the book – give it power! Thank the book for all your dreams that are coming true through the Law of Attraction.
Here & Now:
Find a place that gives you space to access your true desires – for some people this could be in quiet park while others in the energy and community found in a local coffee shop – and begin writing in the present tense.
It is often nice to start with affirmations that you want to manifest and to give yourself a timeline if this feels right for you. For example:
1st May 20__ I am so happy and grateful that my coaching business is consistently hitting $10K months.
I am so in love with my new partner and was so happy when they proposed on New Year’s Eve 20__
It has been a year since I purchased this journal and I have so much gratitude that I now live in New York and have made so many wonderful friends.
Evocative descriptions
Live your desires through your journal pages in the PRESENT – feel the joy in your heart as your write about your ideal life. FEEL how amazing it is when you get your first VIP client, are featured in your favourite publication or go on your bucket list destination.
Keep this feeling with you and remind yourself throughout the day of it – keeping your positive vibration high will bring the Law of Attraction to you even quicker.
Journaling is an incredibly powerful way of manifesting – use this technique to get excited with your dream life and get ready to start living it in the present!

Forgiveness is NOT:
… condoning or excusing the wrongdoing
… minimising the wrong
… forgetting what that person has done
… the same as reconciling with that person
Why should we forgive?
It allows us to:
…move on without contempt and anger
… regain our personal strength and power
… grow in our own happiness
… live in the present and not be tied to the past
Holding onto the pain of the past holds us back from living in the present. The body is physically affected by negative emotions, affecting the immune system in ways that we are only starting to learn about. Forgiving will not only allow you to live in the present but will make you a healthier person as well.
Do you struggle to forgive?
Next week we will share out 6 step process to forgiveness

Its FriYAY! Here are our favourite tips for a rejuvenating weekend:
End of Work Ritual
This may seem obvious but it is even more important if you work from home. Have a closing day ritual – tidy up any loose ends, clear your desk, put your papers away and close down your laptop (even if you will need to open it up again to watch Netflix!). The physical act of shutting down for the day will signal to your brain that it is time to start relaxing.
FYI: It is important to do this ritual at the end of each day not just the weekend so as to make space physically and mentally between work and your downtime
Stay Healthy
Though the weekend is a time to treat yourself, do so in a healthy way. Why undo all the good work from the week? If you’re going out for drinks with friends make sure you drink two large glasses of water and have a protein snack to make sure you aren’t drinking on an empty stomach (a game changer for your Saturday morning!)
Aim to keep the same wake up time
As tempting as it is to sleep in till the late morning it plays havoc with your internal body clock. Aim to get up at a similar time to the weekday then make yourself a delicious tea or cappuccino and get back to bed and journal or read the newspapers (no one says you can’t enjoy your bed!).
Spend time in nature
Walk to your favourite brunch spot, play volleyball in your local park, wonder around the artisan shops downtown (avoid shopping malls!). Spending time in nature has been proven to have endless benefits for not only our mental health but for our immune system as well.
Enjoy yourself
Whether that’s finding a new restaurant with your OH, having a wine and cheese sleepover with your friends or spending the night in with your pooch make sure you incorporate it into your weekend.
Be present
For all of our tips above have the aim to be present for each one. We spend our lives waiting for the weekend to come, then can so often spend it worrying about what Monday will bring. Regular mediation practise will help to keep you grounded and to enjoy each part of the weekend.
What do you like to do over the weekend?
Have an awesome weekend!

Not only is it important for your physical health but a clean home helps your emotional and mental health as well.
Go one step further with our seven tips to increase energetic vibrations and rid yourself of negative vibes in your home.
1#
Declutter
In the words of Marie Kondo – get rid of any items that don’t bring you joy! Commit to clearing your home, the lightness you will feel knowing that there aren’t endless drawers stuffed to the brim will allow energy to flow through house and through you in turn.
2#
Greenery
Now that you have space in your home make sure to include plants whether in the form of easy to look after succulents or herbs to cook with. They assist in cleaning the air which will in turn raise the energy vibration.
3#
Essential Oils
Burning or diffusing essential oils are an amazing way to energise or calm your sacred space. Lemon and grapefruit will uplift while lavender will relieve nervous energy around your home.
4#
Meditate
Not only does meditation work wonders on the human brain it also invites positive energy into your home. There are many types of meditation so for beginners we would recommend exploring apps like Headspace and Simple Habit to discover the numerous practises out there and to find the one that works best for you.
5#
Light
The first rays of sunlight are nature’s caffeine boost and the golden glow of the sunset creates a naturally calming effect. Make sure your home benefits from as much natural light as possible by fully opening any blinds and making sure your curtains can be pushed right back as well.
6#
Burn Sage
Burning sticks of sage invites positivity into your home – wave the burning sticks while you walk around your home – think positive thoughts and let the smell relax you.
7#
Music
A home filled with music is one that is high energy. Play, sing, dance to happy music and feel the positive vibrations increase in your home.
By raising the positive vibrations of your home, relaxation will comer naturally. You will find yourself calmer and lighter just by spending time in your special sanctuary of a home.

Rule #1
Self Esteem
In order to have self-confidence it needs to begin with the act of loving yourself. Just as you are. Flaws included. Self-love is the basis of where self-confidence grows.
Rule #2
Positivity
There are two sides to every story / opinion / situation. Make the effort to see the positive side. Even if you struggle to find it begin by acknowledging the positive and negative and which side you have chosen to focus on. With positivity comes self-confidence that you are doing the right thing.
Rule #4
Self-Perception
The realisation that people are far too tied up in their own self-perception to worry about how you come across should be of comfort. Focus on what other people are saying / doing and by not giving your worries the time of day it will increase your self-confidence exponentially.
Rule #5
Resilience
Everyone makes mistakes. Everyone fails. The people that are successful in this life sees them not at absolute failures but lessons to be learnt by. Pick yourself up and try again. You are stronger than you know and you can do this.
Rules #6
Courage
Thinking about being more confident won’t happen unless you step outside your comfort zone. It takes courage to take a risk. Lack of faith in your abilities stops so many people living their dreams, don’t be that person. Live your dreams as the self-confident person you know you are – you have got this!
[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
Take a moment to ask yourself these six questions:
What is currently stopping you from being happy?
Write down exactly what is stopping you – from the daily (worried about money and rent to pay etc) to your mindset (not feeling worthy or good enough). Identification is the first step in overcoming these feelings.
If you were completely free for the day what would you do?
Would it be cooking a delicious lunch and catching up with friends or spending the day alone recharging and reading? This will give you an insight into what activities revive you and what you should aim to incorporate more of in your day to day life.
Are you a morning person or night owl?
Most people are one or the other – embrace it! Make sure to schedule creative activities that work with your natural timings and consign the more mundane when you are slower. Morning birds should start on creating first thing and keep any admin tasks for the sluggish afternoon whereas night owls would do best to start their day with the general tasks and keep later on free for when the creative juices start flowing.
What would your 80-year-old self-tell you to make time for?
Do you love to travel? Spend time with friends? Meditate in nature? Dance? Whatever it is make sure you incorporate it into your day/ week / life. Life is too short to not enjoy it. Another plus is you will come back to work revived and more productive as result – win / win!
How do you make the Universe a better place?
Whether this is by giving your time to others, looking after the environment or creating a service that helps others – always have the bigger picture of the Universe in your mind. It can be so easy to get tied down with the minute details of life however we should all endeavour to leave this world a better place than when we arrived.
What fills you with joy?
This should be a split-second answer – whatever it is endeavour to do more of it! It doesn’t necessarily have to be your full-time job but make sure you make time to do it – listen to your 80-year-old self!
When we take the time to ask ourselves these questions it gives us the opportunity to see where we are heading and if it is not in the right direction then a chance to change course to become more aligned with who we are and where we want to be.

When you realise the benefits and joy of intentionally being grateful you will wonder why it took you so long to start! Discover 5 practises to start your day with a smile on your face:
Focus
As soon as you wake up focus on one wonderful thing – whether that is the morning sunlight streaming in through the window, a loved one next to you or even the simple fact you are lucky enough to wake up in a comfortable bed. Take a second to fully appreciate this.
Writing
Some people find the act of writing amplifies their feeling of gratitude. If this is the case grab a pen and write down any good things that are in your heart in the morning. We like to write down five things – however you should decide what feels good for you whether it is one, five or ten – it should make you feel great.
Calmness
There is no space for gratitude when you are rushed. Set your alarm 20 minutes early (or even earlier if you are feeling brave!) and allow yourself to savour the beauty of an un-rushed morning and think positively about the day to come.
Internal Dialogue
It is hard to feel positive when you focus on the negative that is happening in your life. Try and see the opportunities and lessons in everything life has to throw at you, the good and the bad. This also translate to who you spend time with. Make a point to be with people who see the joy in life rather than the never-ending complainer – who would you rather be?
Consistency
Some days it will feel easier to feel grateful than others however the cumulative effect of daily gratitude will change your life in more ways than you can imagine. Maybe write down one thing you are grateful for rather than ten – the importance is being intentionally grateful in whatever way you can that day.
We hope not only you but the people around you will benefit from your daily practise of gratitude – life is too short to not take each day as a gift!

With a few intentional adjustments create a beautiful work space to be productive in with our six calming tips:
Natural light – if possible choose a working space that enjoys the morning sun. Try to create as much natural light as possible by having any curtains fully open, it improves our mood and reduces energy consumption! If you struggle to find natural light consider investing in a SAD lamp to use while you work.
Greenery – Succulents are a low maintenance and easy option to introduce greenery to your work space. They have been proven to benefit not only the natural environment by removing toxins from the air but also improves our natural sense of wellbeing.
Aromatherapy – using a diffuser, scented candles or incense, aromatherapy is a powerful tool to use in your work space. Lavender calms the nervous system which is great to use in times of stress while eucalyptus and peppermint will invigorate you during your working day.
Crystals – there is a whole array of crystals to help you focus, prosper and succeed! Check out our other blog posts for which crystals to use and . when. They are also beautiful to look at which leads us to our next tip…
Minimalism – tidy desk tidy mind! Make sure what you do have on your desk sparks joy – crystals, candles, beautiful stationary. This will help to inspire you and keep you focused with minimum distractions while you work.
Music – either a gentle relaxing melody on your Spotify playlist or an interesting podcast to broaden your horizons while doing your daily admin tasks – having a background noise can help focus you and reduce distractions from the wider outside environment.
What is your favourite tip to create a calm workspace?
